What a refreshing space! Ina Garten, Author and Host of Food Network Program, Barefoot Contessa, built this spectacular home in East Hampton New York, to cook, film and write away from home. The "barn" is inspired by simple Belgium Country Design. The huge kitchen is perfect for filming and entertaining. A counter that seems to never end, a fireplace for evening warmth, French doors that open up to a blue stone terrace... the comfort and Natural Beauty of this space urge you to sit back, eat and drink. Even the furnishings are subtle, and yet so dramatic. I sense the passion for cooking, food and entertaining everywhere. This is my inspiration for some great summer parties.
